I'm a rhythm / Lead guitarist and vocalist (lead and backing) who has been playing original music with some covers with several local South Jersey bands. I'm self taught, can't read a lick of music, rough around the edges, and frequently have writer's block. I bet that grabs your interest. I'm interested in starting my own project. An original band with songs across a broad range of styles. Not opposed to doing covers here and there but with out own spin. For example, I was listening to Skid Row's "Wasted Time" and thinking it would sound great if the piano and guitar split up the guitar parts.

Ideally, I'm looking for musicians between the ages of 30 to 50 years old, who are mature, sans drama, and like to collaborate musically. Musicians who appreciate patience and taking time in writing a song and finding that "moment", that piece of serendipity when a song meshes. Vocals- Female lead singer

Rhythm / Lead Guitar- Me

Bass- Someone who can at texture to the music.

Piano- A piano sound more than a keyboard sound. Someone who can set the mood with their playing.

Drums- Looking for more of a percussionist.

I would also be looking for musicians who are financially stable outside of music and have established careers but could also have the flexibility to take a sabbatical. No offense those who striving to make it big at the exclusion of all else. I have the utmost respect for that and envy that ability. I'm just saying we would be a different points in our life and have different goals. If you think otherwise, I'm open minded and would certainly hear you out.

I'm not interested in rushing to play gigs. I would much prefer taking the time to write good material and if we are all on the same page, then start playing shows.
