ABOUT

Work in progress. I did music (and had brief mid-level success) wa-a-a-y back in the day of the 1980's! A-a-a-a-and I've been out of the music biz since then (channelling my creative juices to my painting and paying bills as a pro dog trainer). Well, you know how there was this pandemic and everything shut down and we were all gonna die? That's when I decided F it, music is my real love (and, humbly, a real gift) and all this time I never stopped writing. Now I am committed to do "whatever it takes" to get these songs heard. They are pop, quirky, intelligent, gems on hooks all over the place. Hear for yourself. So, what I am looking for is a backing band for songs already written and also truly enjoy cowriting, and have done 4 co writes in the last two years. Good songs! Ready to make more.

Influences

Everything I've ever heard. I think Buffy Saint Marie is one of North America's all time best songwriters. Let's see who else....Bobbie Gentry, Nina Hagen, Dianne Warren, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Joan Armatrading, (I'm old ok, my influences are old) someone current, idk... Lady Gaga. all the great female singer songwriters (of which there are so few, Let's change that!)... The truth is a rarely listen to the radio myself as there are so few women's voices and perspectives on there. Again, let's change that! So anyways, though my songs are "pop, rock spanning funk to country" they are also unique and quirky, fun, but intelligent. I do not want to be stuck to any one genre that's for sure.
