Hi, I'm Kyle and I'm a 23 year old art school graduate. I currently have my comic in Uweekly for you OSU you folks that know about that paper. Musically I started on bass in 10th grade in a band. Switched to guitar in 12th and haven't stopped since. I've been in two bands that have halfheartedly played out. Both ended when everyone graduated. I play guitar and sing covers and originals. Defiantly more of a rhythm guitarist but I can get fancy at times. I want to start playing out besides the 2 open mics I've been doing every week for a year(The shrunken head on wed and Taj Mahual on tuesday). A solid drummer is what I'm most looking for. I know plenty of other musicians but a good drummer makes or breaks everything. Also I think half covers half originals is a golden formula.

We could go down the dance/trippy/space rock like the Flaming Lips, Of Montreal, Dan Black, LCD Soundsystem or we could be upbeat punk/rock like The Cribs, The Strokes, Death from Above, The Velvet Underground.... I'm not so particular.... not so into funk or ska ..... Just really want something that moves.

EQUIPMENT

I have a hallow body electric and acoustic electric and bass and a 400 watt PA system... hopefully if we could try out and practice together you would have some sort of PA Mic system and if we click then I'll move my stuff to our practice space.
