Howdy! My name is Layne Spradlin, and I have been playing drums nearly my whole life. I love metal and the pop-punk genre of music, but I have experience in several different genres, including country, jazz, blues, and a little Latin/ Afro-Cuban. I don't have much gigging experience other than school concerts and talent shows.

Influences
Eric Singer, drummer for Kiss, is the entire reason I started playing the drums. I had some exposure before I saw them live, as my brother would play rhythms with me on my car seat during road trips, and played his guitar with me on my little drum set at home. As I've grown older, I've found myself reflecting the style of drummers within the pop punk and metal genres, such as Mike Wengren, Rian Dawson, and Bob Bryar. Of course, my influence come more from the music genre rather than specific artists, so I shall stop with the names there.

I have a bass guitar with an amp, an electric Simmons SD600 with the expansion pack of one extra crash and tom, and then a Pearl Export Series with 5 toms and Sabian crashes, china's, rides, and hi-hats.
