Just moved to Texas, looking to join a band. I've recorded several cds with several bands, all from different genres (everything from punk/alternative to country to praise and worship). Spent two years touring with a worship band. I've been the front man for most of the bands I've played with and now I'm looking to take a step out of the "lime light". I play ALOT by ear, usually after I have the charts memorized, I like to experiment with fills within the chords to try and add something personal to the song, that way its not just a repeat of what's already been said and done.

Influences
Everything you experience should be some kind of influence. If I had to choose a few bands that have really influenced the way I approach my instrument and the way I view music I would have to say SUBLIME, COUNTING CROWS, BOB MARLEY, RAY CHARLES, JACK JOHNSON, G LOVE, RAMONES, BOB DYLAN, DAVE MATTHEWS, BLACK SABBATH, TRAPT, HARVEY DANGER, OLD SCHOOL GREENDAY (kerplunk era up until warning), TSUNAMI BOMB, NOFX, SOCIAL DISTORTION, BAD RELIGION just to name a few.
EQUIPMENT
I was recently robbed in a church parking lot (last thing i expected) and lost most of my equipment. I have now two acoustic guitars (one acoustic/electric dean the other is an alvarez), one fender deluxe stratocaster, and amp.
