Hello! I’ve been learning music since I was about 6 or 7. Mom taught me piano, then I received vocal training when I did boys choir from 9-12 under Dr. Ackerly in Tucson, and I’ve continued singing in one way or another most of my life. Picked up French horn in 6th grade and played up through some college. My current room/band mate and lead guitarist moved in next door when I was in 8th grade and his dad got me into bass, which I played in jazz band and various rock bands all four years of high school and continue to play to this day. I recently started learning the Ukulele as well and I am absolutely loving it. I currently have weekly jam nights with my roommate, Lucas, and another friend from high school, mostly learning covers but starting to venture into writing originals. We play acoustic, rock, a little folk/old school country, and lots of reggae. We could use a percussionist but I think an extra vocalist/ukulele player and a keyboardist would make fine additions to our little jam group. If we can find a good fit we are definitely down to start writing more music and finding gigs, playing publicly. Also very much open to anyone looking to make friends, hang, and just have a good night playing tunes and drinking beer.
