I'm looking for a drummer to complete our band. We're going to play covers with an occasional acoustic gig, so being comfortable with some other percussion (cajon, bongos, congas, cocktail kit, etc.) would be sweet, but definitely not required. As of right now, the band is myself (rhythm guitarist/singer), a bassist/singer and lead guitarist. The three of us have played together in the past and gel really well together, so we're looking for someone to become a part of that. Obviously, we want someone who is a solid player, but attitude comes first! We're all really laid back and have checked our egos a long time ago, so we kinda want to keep things chill. We're all in our 30's, but age, female/male- none of that matters to us. We want someone we can play music with but can hang out with, too. We play music because we love it and want to have fun. At the same time, we do take it pretty seriously and are looking to make some extra cash playing out. We're looking to practice maybe once a week and gig as often as possible- and our schedules allow.
As far as the type of music we play- we're all over the place. We don't play anything too obscure, because we want people at our shows to know the music and have a good time. That being said, we play stuff that's on the radio now, older tunes like Elvis and Queen, and pretty much everything in between. We do have something of a soft spot for the 90's though...
