I play alot of gospel material, folk songs and blues, and am a songwriter as well. All of my music is "family friendly" where you could bring children to the gig and not have to worry about four letter words, etc. in the lyrics. I am a Christian, but will play any sort of "clean" secular music, and love jazz and blues.
I can be contacted at ljmagnuson at America Online. Drug and alcohol free serious inquiries only, please.

This Land Is Your Land
This Land Is Your Land Year: 2013 Album: Just a Home Recording with a good mic :) Genre: Acoustic
Old Woody Guthrie song. One of my favorites too, and I don't axe the last two verses like many artists do. I have more respect for Woody than that. He wrote them, so I'll sing them :) Vladimir Mavar, a friend of mine, is playing lead guitar behind me on this.

This was written by a friend of mine, Peter Dickson. He came down after Hurricane Katrina to help out folks who had lost their roofs and I ended up jamming with him a lot while he was here. He's mainly a Christian artist who also plays some acoustic and alternative material. We're still in contact. Vladimir Mavar on lead guitar on this one.

When The Levee Breaks
When The Levee Breaks Track number: 20 Genre: Blues
This is a song from my demo CD, written in 1927 by Memphis Minnie, about the relentless rain that flooded the Delta area, including New Orleans. It was made famous in the 1970s by Led Zeppelin as a rock song. My version is closer to Memphis Minnie's original rendition.
