Looking to form/join a band, for anything from a one-time casual cover song recording session to a full-scale touring band. I’d be open to a lot of different things, but there are 2 band concepts I’ve had in mind for years:
1. A sorta hybrid between Guns N Roses and Chris Stapleton, with a few sprinkles of Led Zeppelin or Alice In Chains or Fleetwood Mac or Audioslave, or classic outlaw country like Merle & Waylon, or maybe even some classic folk like Denver or Lightfoot. I think there’s a cohesive sound that can be made of all those ingredients, and I’d like to explore that sound.
2. The other concept is something more like Editors, U2, Frightened Rabbit, The Cure, The National, Echo & The Bunnymen, Joy Division, The Twilight Sad, Manchester Orchestra, David Bowie, etc.

Influences
Frank Sinatra, Bono, Jim Morrison, Freddy Mercury, Axl Rose, Layne Staley, Jon Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, Billy Joel, Dwight Yoakam, Kevin Smith, Chris Cornell, Chris Stapleton, Matt Berninger, and many more. I am serious about each of these, too. I could point out specific elements of my singing style that are attributable to the influence from each of those artists.

EQUIPMENT
I've got a USB microphone for my rock band video game, but I don't suppose that counts.
