Boston-based pop metal band Major Moment is known for their intense and cinematic sound that blends heavy guitar riffs, modern production, and melodic vocals. What sets them apart is their unique use of both male and female clean and extreme vocals that create a harmonious blend of contrasting styles. The band draws inspiration from their personal experiences to create music that speaks to their listeners and encourages them to pursue their dreams and live a life of purpose. Since the release of their debut EP in 2018, Major Moment proves to be the band that dreams big and puts in the hard work to earn it. Having recently performed on Monster Stage of Blue Ridge Rock Festival among with Skillet, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Rise Against, etc. and after receiving support from Kerrang Radio, Idobi Radio, Alt.Press, Loudwire, Metal Insider, Major Moment has already released 3 EPs, 5 standalone singles, 9 music videos, 4 reimagined tracks, and an album of remixes.

"The Pain That Makes Us Grow", the band's full-length album is set for release in late 2023, with the first singles "Toxic" and "Overcome" out now.

Major Moment is looking for a metal / metalcore-oriented guitarist.
We can't wait to get to know you, if:

- you are a team player and ready to work hard to help the band reach its goals. That means that besides playing your instrument and attending rehearsals, you will be expected to take on a share of business-related tasks and responsibilities on a daily basis;
- you like the songs that we already released, and are willing to learn the parts as is;
- you have the financial ability to support yourself and your passion (music) with this band, which means investing in studio time, photoshoots, music video shoots, promotion, touring, merch, etc.
- you have a relatively flexible schedule to be able to rehearse, perform, attend photoshoots and music videos, help with their planning and everyday tasks, go on tours a couple of times a year;
- you are in your 20s - 30s. We would love to ideally have a band member of our age so the band looks cohesive.

Unfortunately, this won’t be the right fit for you, if...

- you are looking to get paid when other members don’t. We would love to find a team member and a partner, not a session player. We are nowhere near making money at this point but we believe if we have the right team, it's just a matter of time.
- you JUST want to play guitar, have fun, and "see where this goes" (this usually goes nowhere). We don't jam. We treat it as a business, so rehearsals only come before it's time to play shows / go on tour.
- you are not willing to invest time and money into the band. We can't believe we have to state the obvious but things like paying rent for the rehearsal space, recording / promo expenses, transportation, and accommodations while on tour should be expected to be split evenly between all members. If you can help with designing, video editing, new content creation, email pitches, email marketing, etc. we will go farther faster.
- you don't have a car... well, yep, that's gonna be a big problem.
