ABOUT

looking to experiment with different musicians and vocalists, but at the same time I'm trying to start a cover band of Depeche Mode. Looking to make music more on the edgy side or at least experimental, although I do love the blues and classic rock, I love synthesizers as much as tube saturation on the electric guitar. I tend to lean more towards edgy music like industrial & electronic music. Very open to many different kinds styles like dead can dance, and music like that that leans towards world music ambient music and things like that. You can find me as Daniel John Barocio Or manifestomode, I'm in the process of starting a production Soundesign company. I like to work with people that have a high level of mutual respect and that are out to have a good time but not be completely reckless with each other or with our equipment. I have a strong sense of vision and goals used to fused by passion for music and I'm looking for musicians that have the same qualities. I can help with some of the vision since I'm a good idea man and I'm starting a production company so I have to have that kind of vision. At the same time I'm very open to your ideas and I'm easy to work with.

Influences

I'm a big fan of Depeche Mode and I could do Martin Gore and Dave Gahan Vocals better than any cover band. Most people I meet say I could do it exactly like them and that I sound more like they do in the studio than they do when they play live. 99% at least say that. I love experimental & electronic music as much as organic music they seem to have merge these days. Somehow I'm still a huge fan of the blues though. Jimi Hendrix is my favorite Guitar player and I'm getting close to emulating his style of playing. Bands and artists like Pink Floyd The Doors The Beatles, meat beat manifesto, Madonna are a big influence. I even like Enya and some gospel music and I'm influenced by those those as well.

EQUIPMENT

analog synthesizers of different kinds as well as virtual synthesizer. Fender Stratocaster Fender Telecaster Gretch Guitar, various vox Fender Blackstar amps. I also have a tribal drum.
