I've been playing, singing and performing since jr. high school in 1970. I have been in several cover bands, one Pink Floyd, two Beatles; in one I was Billy (keyboard only), the other I was John singing and playing what he sang and played in that band. I was in a cover band in LA that once played at the Whisky A Go Go on Sunset Blvd. opening for Gentle Giant and Missing Persons. I am not shy and love being up front, but am very willing to share the stage. My voice is similar in range and style to John Lennon, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons (not Paul Stanley), Some Elton, Jim Morrison, Glenn Frey, even Johnny Cash...depending on what I need to sing. I do one mean Born to be Wild, but Brown Eyed Girl works, too.

Influences
Most of the classic rock performers of the 60s and 70s. But true influences to style? The Beatles (of course), Elton John, Alice Cooper, Yes, Jethro Tull, Cream, and arena bands like Styx, Supertramp and Kansas because of how tight their musicianship is.

EQUIPMENT
One Fender Telecaster, one copy of the electric John used when the Beatles were touring, two acoustic guitars: one Ovation and one Gibson. As far as keyboards, I was unable to move them to Nevada with me, but I could have one sent or go to Guitar Center and buy what we need for the band. I have several harmonicas, a keyboard stand and a small Marshall Amp. I am certainly willing to shell out cash to purchase keyboards, mic stands, mics, and guitar effects boxes.
