My name is Marcus Difilippo and I have been a drummer/percussionist for almost 9 years now. I started playing drums when my dad bought me a drum set when I was in 6th grade and it has grown into something much bigger than a hobby. I am currently a student at Santa Fe University of Art and Design majoring in Contemporary Music Performance.
I have played with many bands both in Pennsylvania (where I'm from) and here in New Mexico and have opened and performed with big acts such as Public Enemy, Ozomotli, Living Colour, and Goddess and She.
I have also done session work with many different artists in many different genres. My main instrument is drum set, but I am also proficient in mallet percussion, hand percussion, and world percussion (mainly middle eastern arabic and afro cuban.)
