Influences
I've made my living in Hollywood for years, with some of the best... very versatile... many styles. I am willing to consider an all original band if serious and competant. Some influences are: Jackson Browne, B.B. King, Beatles, Robert Cray, Jason Aldean, Chris Rea, Celine Dion, Michael W. Smith, and Motown!
EQUIPMENT
Music Man 5 String, Fender style custom hotrods, an old Gibson EB2C, and a Danelectro for "retro" stuff.... a few amps, my favorite is my Ampeg SVT all tube head with 8x10 cabinet. Can include my Ampeg B4R to drive my 18" sub for serious bottom!

Love Will Find A Way
Love Will Find A Way Track number: 3 Year: 1984 Album: Michael MacAuliff Genre: Punk
I wrote this arrangement, co-engineered and co-Produced this cut. The studio's headsets took a dump on me so I played this cut (first take, by the way) WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO HEAR MYSELF!

I wrote this song for my first ex, shortly after Nam. I wrote the arrangement including the live string parts which I also conducted in the studio. I co-engineered, co-mixed, and co-Produced this cut with Norman Ezell (formerly of The Five Americans.) I play bass and hand percussion.

Be Magnified
Be Magnified Year: 1996 Genre: Acoustic
This was a live example of how to take a song, select a style, make an arrangement, and over dub track upon track in my studio to build a whole recording for this girl who was a "shadow day" high school intern in my studio for the week. I play every single instrument, each first take. It has some rough spots, but there are some cool moments worth the listen....
