ABOUT

I am the Guitarist/Vocalist/Bassist for Elim Lutheran Churches' house band, Oasis. We are undergoing some change and need volunteer musicians to help breath new life into the band, the Church, and the Community.

Myself and the current vocalist are looking for charitable community oriented individuals to play Newer Christian Contemporary (80's +), Southern/ Country Gospel, and to arrange tradition hymns into a more high energy sound. I would also like to write/arrange originals.

3 hours commitment per week at this time - 2 for practice, 1 for 3rd service on Sunday.

Major goal for this year is to play on a float in the Whiz Bang Day Parade in Robbinsdale, Mn.

EQUIPMENT

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT = Joe Pass Semi Hollow body 6 string, Fender 12 string accoustic, Generic 6 string accoustic, Ibanez 6 string electric, 65 watt Crate amp with built in effects, Fender Jazz Bass and Fender 150w amp, 4 channel mixer, Wireleass Mic and Mic stand w/ goose-neck, Violin/ Fiddle (I'm rusty so may take a while to rebuild chops).

The church has all the gear we need to play in house including a sound guy.
