Hey there. I've had very little chance to practice music in the past couple of years, and I'm trying to change that. I'm a singer, foremost, and I'd really love to find a guitarist that I could practice with, and maybe work on some ideas I have.
I'd love to be able to perform sometimes, be it at an open mic or a small venue or whatever. I've been part of different performance groups since I was small, and I really miss being on stage.

Influences
I'm especially fond of the pnw indie sound, and especially some of the more successful acts (I.e. Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins, Fleet Foxes), as well as some of the earlier acts that influenced that sound (I.e. Pixies, Neutral Milk Hotel, Built to Spill, &c. &c.).
I'm also very fond of a lot of folk music, Laura Marling, Paul Simon, Fleet Foxes, Jaymay, Feist, Leonard Cohen. I love anyone with a strong command of language. I am, and suspect I always will be, a lyrics man.
