I believe music is a powerful, transformative form of human self-expression. I appreciate that it brings people together from all different backgrounds and walks of life. I have been a car- and shower- singer for life, and learned to play both alto and soprano sax in high school. I was dedicated and talented enough to be first chair all four years, and spent a few years in my teens traveling and performing with a Northern California youth music group, and was even recruited to sing in the choir. Unfortunately, after college, I couldn’t find a way to keep it up, and now in my 30s, I’d like to return to performance.
