Seeking effective/dedicated Drummer and Bassist for Original blues based/rock project. I play guitar and sing and have professional quality equipment.(I am currently seeking a decent PA set-up for practice and or gigging purposes) You should have professional quality equipment, professional attitude, reliable transportation and live in close proximity to the Salem area. I'm not seeking hired guns, but musicians willing and able to collaborate. Back up vocal ability a must. You should be able to practice AT LEAST once a week and more if possible. We will play an appropriate sum of cover material, consistent with our "style," to get our proverbial "foot in the door." However our goal should be to procure and maintain consistent, paying gigs, develop a devoted and enthusiastic fan base, and habitually provide them with a few hours of inculpable pleasure faithfully and frequently, based on our original material.
When we have sufficiently refined our sound and playlist, we will record a modest demo (in production quality only) and promote the band. I believe the gigs will materialize from there.
I don't care how old you are or what you look like as long as you agree with the above.(we should probably agree on an appropriate stage presence however.) Of course, drugs will not be tolerated or any drinking before or during a show or practice session.
I do want this to be a true collaboration and if I have come off as an ego maniac or stern, it's only because I want this project to succeed and am tired of wasting time with people who are not as dedicated to success as myself.
