There’s a huge audience of people who want to hear their favorite metal/hard rock hits. So let’s give ‘em what they want and take them back to the 1980s when rock...well, ROCKED!

We are an experienced drummer and lead guitarist who have started a 1980s metal/hard rock cover band. We recently added a lead vocalist and a bassist, so we have our core. We are beginning regular practices in the afternoon of Saturday, April 20.

We are auditioning for a rhythm guitarist who can do backing vocals. Just so we’re clear: You MUST be able to do backing vocals.

Show up to the audition ready to play four of the following songs (you choose which four): Round and Round (Ratt), Never Enough (L.A. Guns), Living After Midnight (Judas Priest), Photograph (Def Leppard), Deeper the Love (Whitesnake), Sweet Child O’ Mine (GNR), Looks That Kill (Motley Crue), Crazy Train (Ozzy), Rock You Like A Hurricane (Scorpions), Shake Me (Cinderella), We’re Not Gonna Take It (Twisted Sister), Fallen Angel (Poison).

We’ll be playing all songs in Eb (half step down).

Also be ready to dress the part on stage. Black jeans, leather jackets and pants, cool shirts, boots--YES! Dad sneakers, shorts, polos, mom jeans--Um, no.

Finally, if you are a newbie to all of this, don’t worry. We’ve all been there. We’ll be very patient and understanding with you. So reach out to us for an audition! Who knows? You just might nail it.
