Once a rehearsal space is acquired, auditions will begin.
The sets are already set up and are in order.
The whole show is figured out and structured.

I am Michael Ray.
I am putting together a band that will focus on playing locally as well as in the
neighboring towns such as Henderson and Evansville.
Possibly a Casino if things go well.
Maybe even a Party or two.
Not looking to go "Touring" all over the country as I am too old to be galloping
from town to town and living off of Beans and Rice while sleeping in a van with
little to no money to survive on while persuing "The Dream".
That's for the younger kids that are just starting out.
I have been in many bands from out here as well as the west coast.
This is going to be my last band and I want to give it one final run.
We will be focusing on giving a top notch show to the clubs and club goers.
Any money that may come our way will be divided EQUALLY.
We will NOT be a "Political" Band.
Leave THAT to Bono.
As you know, Covid will soon be done with and people are going to WANT
to be entertained and we want to be on that forefront.

This band WILL have a DEDICATED WEBSITE and NOT just some AD LADEN
CRAP.

The name of this band is 'The Classix" and we will focus on Classic Rock and
Early Metal as well as some originals.
There are a couple of recent works that will be covered as well.

No --- Rap.
No --- Hip Hop.
No --- Emo.
No --- Screamo.
No --- Punk

This band will be based here in Owensboro KY.
Rehearsals will be just that --- Rehearsal of songs as a band, not a time for trying
to learn parts that should've been worked on and learned at home.
During rehearsal, if a song is not quite right, it will be worked on until it is right.
And THEN we will move on to the next song.
We will not be jumping from song to song as this will keep having inferior
material left in the sets.
And this will reflect badly on stage if not corrected.
If a song is slightly varied, providing it sounds good, so be it.
It will have our own spin on it.
As we progress, Original material will gradually replace some of the covers.
The ultimate goal is to perform four full sets and be able to take on an entire

In the beginning, we may have to do a show with other acts until we have
OUR SHOW ready.

THAT --- is for SUCKERS and FOOLS ALIKE.
We may have to do a few free "EXPOSURE" shows, but NEVER a Pay For Play.
If you do not have access to, or copies of, any of the material being covered, I will
be more than happy to provide copies so there will be NO EXCUSES for not
being prepared.
We will be putting on a QUALITY SHOW so expect not to look like CRAP
on stage.
Our show will harken back to the shows from "Back in the Day".
NOT like today.
Our material will be Hot Rockin' Good Time Stuff.
Not that DOUR I HATE MY LIFE sh*t.
That is fine for the Alternative and Grunge Rockers of the 90's, or today.
NOT US.
