This year BLAKE celebrates its 40th anniversary delivering danceable deep classic album rock tunes in the spirit of the great bands of the vinyl era and beyond. BLAKE reunited in 2004 with its original lineup and now perform several shows annually at select venues. BLAKE's show features a road-tested song list packed with popular, upbeat tunes with a contemporary flavor that connects with fans of classic rock, young and old; whether it is a private party, corporate event, car show, or outdoor festival.
BLAKE's eclectic repertoire features songs by artists such as Blue Oyster Cult, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Marshall Tucker, Allman Brothers, Mountain and many others. A BLAKE show includes a few forgotten classics and recognizable deep album cuts by Jeff Beck, Cactus or James Gang along with some other surprises.
Recent BLAKE shows have included an appearance on the Main Stage of the 2012 Taste of Syracuse and club gigs at Mac's Bad Art Bar in Mattydale and Jake's in Brewerton. BLAKE has performed as part of a series of outdoor reunion shows in the Corning area, culminating with the "Corning Classic Rockers Return" event last summer that featured BLAKE and three other Corning area bands. BLAKE has also been featured as the headline act for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Block Party on Main Street in Hill City, South Dakota for the past 3 years.
