ABOUT

Been doing this a long time in metro Denver. Have contacts & gigs. Looking for quality with no drama, no egos. Playing the hits or songs people want to hear is necessary, but duplicating the jukebox note for note is no longer fun for me. Prefer to start rather than join a band. Prefer 2 to 4 piece. Emphasis on vocals and harmony. No touring or out-of-town gigs.

Influences

How much time do you have? From the Beatles to (pick virtually anyone that records melodic music,) and I'm in. I love folk singers like Gordon Lightfoot and Join Mitchell and CSN&Y. I love country music like George Strait, Kenny Chesney and Merle Haggard. I love pop rock like Ambrosia, Steely Dan, The Pretenders and a million more. I love playing a few GOOD originals.

EQUIPMENT

My primary instrument of late is my Taylor 714ce six string acoustic but I have many more acoustic and electric guitars and amps. I have a Roland XP-80 Synth with all the module slots and a half dozen midi sound units. I've got a PA and mics that will cover all small to mid-size venues. I have a separate practice space big enough for a band.
