Started playing on a pump organ that has been in my family for over 100 years then parents started me in music lessons on piano and accordian. Preferred to play and learn by ear and play sports. Played in local rock bands in high school in the late 60's, college in the 70's, and local bands in the 80's. Teaching and coaching become a necessary meanings to support a family. Playing in bands after 1980 took a backseat. Have retired from teaching, but still coach in the Fall of the year. Looking to have fun playing out once in awhile (like maybe once or twice a month). Not looking to play to make money, just having fun and enjoying having people have fun dancing and singing.
