Hi I'm Max. I'm 20 years old, I've been playing guitar for seven years and singing for six. I'm a tenor but I can hit those bass notes as well. I used to do school of rock but I'm not amazingly well versed in theory but I am pretty well practiced at playing and I'm a fast learner. I've been told I have a very good stage presence, especially on the mic.

Influences
I like stuff from all over the genre spectrum, I grew up on the blues, jazz, funk, and soul when I was like a little kid so I'm a big fan of James Brown, Jerry Lee Lewis, Miles Davis, and the song 16 Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford. In my awkward teen years I was really into emo rock and metal, and I got my start playing music playing songs by Metallica, My Chemical Romance, The Used, and System of a Down. In my later teens I chilled out and started listening to more classic rock and alt rock and less metal, and then even more hip-hop, EDM, and indie rock.
Some favorite songs to play on guitar: Cherry Pie by Warrant, War Pigs by Sabboth, Paradise City by GNR, Redbone by Childish Gambino, One Step Closer by Linkin Park, and White People for Peace by Against Me! (Wasn't trying to end on a ! but thats the name of the band.)
Some favorite songs to sing: Ivy by Frank Ocean, Snow(Hey-Oh) by RHCP, Can't Feel my Face by the Weekend, Old Man by Neil Young, and A Box Full of Sharp Objects by the Used.
I can death growl, I can scream, and I would absolutely be down to rap.
