Mock Codec Seeks Female Vocalist:
Recently formed avant garde electronica band is looking to add a female vocalist. Ideally she will have an interest in playing keyboard as well. We're aiming to towards the gritty experimental end of electronica with a vision of sounding like Broadcast meets Joy Division mixed with some Ladytron. We are divining our unique sound and not interested in being a tribute/cover band.

Influences:

The band’s primary influences can be separated into two groups:

Avant-garde electronica side:

Broadcast, Ladytron, Serge Gainsbourg, Ennio Morricone, Stereolab, Pram. Many more lesser-known bands.

The heavy gritty side:

The Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Throbbing Gristle

Equipment List:

private Studio with lots of Synths/amps, you dont need to lug your equipment if you dont want too.

Members Of Band:

Need: Female vocal, if you can play any insturment too thats great.
