Are you a songwriter? Do you play an instrument? Have you found yourself searching for a songwriting or performing outlet, but are perhaps shy/inexperienced/anxious? Do people say you should share your music but you are hesitating because you lack confidence, but you know you are good? Me too! Closet singer-songwriter is looking for peers to start a song-writing group. This is not a joke or a marketing ploy. Life is short, and I LOVE to write passionately and play and sing!!! The vision is an easy-going and talented group that meets every other week. We will write, play, and critique the songs we write in a critical but constructive fashion. Must play an instrument (seriously...no tambourines unless you can write, sing, record, and arrange like a seasoned pro and you have gear!) I have been inspired by a local songwriting reality show, and personally want to take my art a step further.
