MYSTERIO was created for the Generation X-ers who don’t want to hear another cover of “Sweet Home Alabama”. Mixing Beatles and Tom Petty with Judas Priest and Motorhead, this band is proud to showcase songs from bands with honesty, integrity and passion.
MYSTERIO is:
JON CLARKE- lead vocals, guitar
Jon hails from New York City, where he played music everywhere from CBGB’s to Rockaway Beach. His influences range from Tom Petty to Black Sabbath and everything between. Jon worked his way up in underground bands during the grunge era, going to rhythm guitar and lead singing to lead guitar and harmony singing. In MYSTERIO, he can do it all.
CHRIS OWNBY- bass
A product of LaGrange (Illinois, not Texas). Chris has been playing bass since he was kid. Most recently in a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band. He adds a rock solid bluesy tone which contributes to the heavy rockin sound that is MYSTERIO.
