Yes, I'm 50, but I can play bass very well - basically anything with bass that is needed, I can provide, and I love modern genres. I can also play the 6 string guitar, but bass is my thang. I sing like Ian Anderson which is not to say I sing lead - I can but prefer not to. I can sing backup and harmonies. I used to play covers but got tired of it, and decided to take some time and just try to write original music. I'm not saying what I do is great, but I think original music is really where it's at, and I'd like to do this with some like-minded contemporaries who want to play some cutting music and get into interesting themes with original music creation. I don't smoke, I drink just enough and just often enough for it to be healthy, I don't use any drugs, I have a great day job and a great family life, and I'm not a fanatic, live and let live I say.

EQUIPMENT

Bass: Carvin 5 string fretless, Fender P bass, Peavey T 40.
Amp: SWR SM 900 with 2 cabs.
Wireless: Shure 14UHF
PA: Mackie CFX 12, Lexicon PCM80, Sabine feedback suppressor, QSC 3204, QSC 1450, Peavey CS 800 (2) - all rack mounted. Cables and PA cabs also. PA is very decent and will handle most venues that are < 500.
Mics: Shure 58 (2), 58 beta (1), 57 (1) with cables.
Acoustic guitar - cheap Epiphone but okay for now.
6 string guitar Squire Strat
Drums: I have a Pearl drumset that needs new heads - I don't play drums but can help fill out a partial set.
