I'm a masters student at UK, looking for some people to play music with. I don't mind doing some covers but i'd like to write some originals. You don't have to be amazing but don't suck either. As long as you're solid at what you do and are willing to practice then you're ok with me. I've been in too many bands where some of the guys thought they were "good enough" and didn't bother practicing. If that's you, don't bother contacting me. If i wanted to settle for mediocre then i would have stayed in those bands.
I'm interested in the basic metal formula. 2 guitarists, a drummer, bassist, and singer. I prefer a dedicated singer because I'd like to write a lot of harmony parts for the guitarists and that usually doesn't work well if one of them is singing. I have no preference as to male or female singers. i'm fine with either as long as you sound good. Must be able to sing though, none of that constant screaming stuff.
