I've been singing and playing for decades in almost every venue, including concert halls, colleges, coffee houses, nursing homes and other institutions, and more.
I can sing soprano and alto with equal ease, although my voice is strongest at the higher notes. While I'm quite comfortable as a lead singer, I also enjoy supporting other lead singers with harmony backups as I have an excellent ear for harmony.
My award-winning songs are in the pop-folk-theatrical vein, with a few classic rock and jazz tunes as well. I am currently recording three albums worth of original material. However, I'd also like to play in a group because I find that the creativity and energy from other skilled musicians always makes music better. I'm open to doing both covers and originals (by me or you).
I am playing keyboard on Say Goodbye in the Morning, I Got a Song, and You Can't Turn Off My Light Anymore. I am playing guitar on Travel On Down the Line and I Got a Song.
My time is fairly flexible, so I'm available several days and evenings a week to rehearse or perform. My goal is to play in upscale places--resorts, hotels, special functions--for audiences who come specifically to listen.
