ABOUT

Looking more for a cover band at the moment. 90's to 2000's rock and metal would be the best fit for me. Metallica, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, STP, CoC, Monster Magnet, Soil, Clutch, etc. More rock than pop. Have ideas for starting some wild cover bands, but need dedicated musicians to pull that off.

Description from 15 years ago:
I'm a 20+ year rhythm guitar player looking for something heavy again. I've done speed metal, death metal, classic rock, alternative metal...now I want something fun and heavy. Nothing too crazy fast. Something with that groove metal vibe with an edge. No screamo alt deathcore post-hardcore straight edge scene kid whatever you want to call this new metal thing the kids are into now. To each his own, but it's not for me.

I want real metal again. I want that heavy down picking crunch of Metallica with the attitude of Pantera with the hardcore hit of Hatebreed. I want the slam of Lamb of God with the fierceness of Fear Factory and the guttural roar of Testament. I want that...yeah, that stuff.

I have my own transport and decent equipment and am willing to do what it takes to get back on stage. I'm not trying to make it big at my age. I just want to go kick some asses before the whole shithouse goes to hell.
