We are a local band, just getting stared in the Industry and looking for members with experience in different area's of expertise, ready to hit the ground running with practicing and gigs. Currently, our 2 songwriters have 5 songs written and have rehearsed them so far with acoustic guitar only. We are seeking a drummer, a bass guitarist, a keyboardist (must have synth experience as well) and an electric guitarist. We already have an Acoustic Guitarist and someone on the Bongos, Tambourine and other percussion equipment. Singing experience in addition to experience in the area's listed above would be excellent! We may also consider another vocalist as well.
Currently, we are in the process of obtaining all of our equipment as a band, to include a 5pc Pearl Drum Set, Keyboard Synthesizer Workstation, Additional Percussion Equipment, Bass, Electric and Electric Acoustic Guitar, Recording Equipment, All Amps and a Fully Professional PA System. (Specifics of Equipment not listed. When we get in contact, I will give you the specifics of the equipment and we can go from there to compare what you can contribute in regards to equipment and go from there).
We are also going to be working with a Professional Music Group out of NYC and an award winning producer within the next 6 months to 1 year to record custom songs we will put together as a band (in the process of developing a close, working relationship with them) and hopefully get recognized, in addition to selling our music on iTunes, a Summer Six Flags Performance as well as performing at different colleges and universities throughout the nation by attending a showcasing opportunity at the National Association of Campus Activities. Thats not all....we will be advertising on GigMasters and doing a lot of local Bar Gigs as well to start out.
So...as you can see, there is a lot of goals we have as a band...we want to get far and are working extremely hard, even in this early stage (50-60 hours a week off of research and discussions alone) and would like to have band members join us, who can be as committed as we are to breaking into this industry and making it far.
Keep in mind, we do not only write originals...but will be working with 50-100 cover songs of all genre's to get well known in local venues, so the more cover experience you have...the better!
