Though I play other instruments, I consider myself a bassist first and foremost. I've been playing electric bass since the age of 15. I played with a band seriously for about two years when I was 17/18. Then I went to college and minored in music. During that time I studied the acoustic (upright) bass, did some composing, and taught lessons.
I'm currently involved in a prog rock project with ajh3guitarist (://.bandmix/ajh3guitarist/) that has had various levels of activity. Currently we're looking for band members.
I'm a pretty versatile musician in that I'm not particularly tied down to genre, though I suppose rock of all types, from oldies to metal is my forte. I've also done a little bit of acoustic/folk material.
I also am enthusiastic about recording, and have a certain level of knowledge regarding such technology.
