Lead and rhythm guitar player. Now living in southern California I grew up in NY and have been playing since junior high school in the ‘70s. And like the old story goes…I’ve been in a bunch of bands that were “this close” to a record deal…. I’ve also played in most of the well known NYC clubs, CBGB’s, Great Gildersleeves, The Ritz, Max’s. I’m looking for local guys that appreciate the blues masters, some surf, 60’s classics (Yardbirds), early 70’s grit (Who, Jeff Beck Group, Humble Pie, Cream, Cactus, Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter, Deep Purple) and some of the local talent (Tommy Castro, Brophy Dale, Downchild). And of course, write and record originals.
Pro gear and attitude, no ego. Just want to be part of a killer band where people leave the venue saying “Those guys (or girls!) can play!”
