SEEKING
Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Keyboard.ABOUT
Health issues have kept me out of the loop for a while, but I'm ready to start performing again. I'm currently rehearsing with a drummer and bassist who are both A-List players, and we sound quite good for a trio, but I would like to bring in a keyboard player - or a strong rhythm guitarist who can also play some lead - to have a fuller sound. Old or young, male or female, doesn't matter if you've got the goods.
Vocals are a must, and while technically this is a start-up, nobody wants to spend months upon end rehearsing so you should be a quick study who pays attention to detail. In other words, we're approaching this much more like a business than a hobby, so you should learn and practice your parts at home and come to rehearsal prepared.
The fine print...
We have a small, but fully equipped rehearsal room in Margate and our material is an eclectic mix of Blues, R&B, MoTown, and some not-so-run-of-the-mill Classic Rock. We are, however, choosing songs to please our audience, not ourselves, so if you're looking for a band that will play all your favorite songs, you may not be a good fit. Also, if you can't provide any audio or video of you doing whatever it is you do, please don't respond until you can.
PLEASE NOTE:
In some of the videos I've posted I am sitting in with The Joe Friday Band, of which I was a founding member, but I am no longer affiliated with that band.
