Been in Olympia for a few years now. I was in a band for a few years in my previous location. We played mostly parties, informal gigs with the occasional gig in a bar, so pretty low key and just for fun. Have been a few other bands over the years. Pop, alternative, blues, rock, punk. Pretty much anything members in the band wanted to do...
I play guitar (rhythm and lead) and can play bass in a pinch (never been my full time instrument in a band). I really like doing original stuff and if doing covers, I prefer to put our own spin on it - it just seems more interesting to me rather than trying to recreate the original note-for-note.
