Drummer-led fusion(ish) band, Oceans in the Sky, seeking keys and guitar. We have a room at Studio 52 and all members are vax'd. We did a test run sans-bassist just prior to the pandemic, a grainy iPhone be video is linked. Our current bassist is a badass, and the two of us have spent the last year and a half honing our playing.

Influences
Some folks we're inspired by are Donny McCaslin, Christian Scott, Steve Kuhn, American Football, Glen Hansard, and Baths. We play a mix of originals and arrangements of other people’s songs. We have charts for the originals. Looking for folks with a jazzy or gospel background, comfortable with improv (and genuinely enjoy it), and a vocabulary that’s more than just blues-y licks (our "ideal" guitarist is Matt Stevens). Ideally, you want to bring your own ideas to the table but don’t want to deal with the logistical nightmare of leading a band ????
