ABOUT

Started palying the guitar about two weeks after I watched the Beatles (greatest Band ever) on the Ed Sullivan Show. I play Guitar, Bass and Keyboards. Started out as a garage band rocker in the 60s playing songs with three chords and gravitated to Jazz about 30 years ago. I would call my playing/writing style eclectic, leaning towards Smooth Jazz/Jazz Rock/Jazzed Blues.

Influences

Too many to count! That's like asking someone who they think the best guitarist is. Impossible, can't be done! That said, my Dad was my biggest influence and the reason I kept with it. Miss him greatly. I have picked up licks and styles from the likes of Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Steve Howe, Larry Carlton, Peter White, George Harrison, Alvin Lee, Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell, Danny Gatton, James Taylor, Larry Coryell, Romero Lumbambo, Jaco, Chuck Loeb, Earl Klugh, James Jamerson, the list goes on and on and never ends!
