I have been playing in bands since I was 10 years old. Started on drums and moved on to bass at age 20. I still play drums when the opportunity arises. My drum teacher of 3 years played first snare in the Marine Corp. band so he really drilled the rudiments into me. I taught myself how to play bass, adding guitar and keyboards in the past year so I'm still very rough on those instruments. I love almost every genre of music except Rap and Hip-hop.

Influences
As a musician my earliest influences were the British Invasion, especially the Beatles. As a drummer I have had many influences; Ringo Star, Charlie Watts and later drummers like Ian Pace, Carmine Appice, Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan and so many more. As a bassist I have been influenced by Paul McCartney, John Paris, Roger Glover, Chris Squire, Stanley Clarke, Barry Oakley. In fact I would say the Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore album taught me how to play bass way back when.
EQUIPMENT
I have a lot of gear; 5 bass guitars and 4 guitars. I have an Alembic, a Schecter, Ibinez, BC Rich, and a beautiful Breedlove acoustic bass. I have several amps; Gallien Krueger, Ampeg, Behringer, Marshal, Crate, as well as related speaker cabinets. A few good mics and stands, lots of cables, a few misc. pedals.
