I need to do something with my music. I love it. It's all I think about. It's hard to describe my sound but if I had to I would say it's like Pink Floyd meets NIN meets Coldplay meets a soundtrack to a horror movie. I'm not a great musician. I have never been trained on an intrument and know very little about theory but I can move my fingers and write some pretty good stuff. It's music that represents how I feel which at this point in my life isn't all that great. Look, I hate my job, I didn't go to college, I live above my parents garage with my dog and I have never been out of the country. I am ready for something big. I need not just musicians but friends that can help get this music into good form and get it out there. I am very shy at first, especially in thoses akward one on one meetings, but once we get to know each other things will be fine. Put me on stage with a bunch of friends and I am in heaven. I sometimes write a really good part to a song and then draw a blank as to where to go from there. That's where you come in. Other times I can sit down and let a whole song poor out of me but I still need the other intruments to make it complete. I have big ideas but can't follow through with them on my own. By myself I won't make it but if we work together there is no reason why we couldn't. I don't want to do what everyone else does. Just getting married and having kids is not enough for me. I want to make a difference. I want to effect people. I want to change minds. I have had this dream since I was 3 or 4 when I first heard Van Halen's 5150 album. I knew then what i wanted to do. But over the years you get pretty beat up by reality. I have had no luck finding like minded musicians. I am hoping that will change by putting my feelings out there like this. I know this is cheesy but bare with me. We're almost done. I am not a great musician but neither was John Lennon or Roger Waters. You don't have to be Eddie Van Halen to make great music. I don't care if you are a guy or a girl or a great musician or not but if you feel the same as me let me know. Pretend for a minute that all your dreams can come true.
