I am a classically trained concert pianist turned cover-band keyboardist, specialized in/studied a lot of Chopin, Gershwin back in the day. Played in a band for the first time in 1986, played ever since on and off, and have been playing keys/synthesizer with local bands here (Side Hustle, Hi Velocity) here in MD going on my fifth year. I'm taking a breather for the next 6-9 months, but I'll be available to do fill ins if your keys books off, and I'll be looking for new challenges in late '24 and 2025 and beyond. So for now, to fill in when you need a keyboardist. Prefer something local (AA County HoCo/Balt Co/Metro Balt to start with). I am interested in bands that play classic rock/edgier rock, 70s and 80s album rock/southern rock, hair band material and early metal with keyboards (think Rainbow in the Dark, Mr, Crowley) and even open to album rock and country music too. Also know/played a good mix of Supertramp, Styx, Seger, Springsteen, Speedwagon and Billy Joel. I've also written original content that was played in gigs. Not interested in pop, dance pop, modern (post '00) R&B or alternative. If your cover band need keys after Fall 2024, or just need a keyboardist as a temporary fill in from time to time, please give me a shout.
