We are a gigging three piece rock outfit that tends towards a jam band sound (guitar, bass and drums). The three of us have played professionally together off and on for around ten years. We've got lots of originals, tons of properly arranged covers and a good group of other bands we gig with/industry contacts. We toured professionally in our younger years, all pro gear and have our stuff together personally. Experience playing with big bands in a support role and some fairly large shows on our own.
So we are late 20's/early 30's professionals. We all have decent day jobs so we're not planning to hop back out on the road at the first opportunity. We practice on Sundays at my home rehearsal studio in Dekalb with a few bonus rehearsals thrown in around certain shows and such. We're tolerant people, please be like minded. Not interested in people with heavy "habits". Figure 2-4 gigs a month.
Ideally we'd like a guitarist or keyboardist to jam with us and maybe become a permanent part of the lineup. Vocals are always a plus, but not necessary. We do a lot of 3 part harmony stuff as it is. The band sounds quite good in its current state, there's just a few things I'd like to do that require another set of hands. Right now we're doing a lot of Dispatch and Dispatch sounding tunes. The range is everything from Wilco to the Decemberists to moe. to Sublime, etc. Anything with soul. If you've got any online samples, shoot me a link. I have a ton of old material with this lineup featuring an additional guitarist if you're interested. Not totally indicative of the current sound, but it's something.
