I just moved to port st lucie fla from philadelphia and dont know anybody in the scene. I am a 26 yr old bass player seeking a working band. Must be gig-ready or very close. I have played in several original bands over the years and most recently a top-40 cover band up in Philly, so I know all the 'standards' and transposing is not a problem. I studied classical bass performance at Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY but did not graduate. I do not have the resources or time to start up a band from scratch and would need to be playing as much as possible for this to be worth it.
I am a jam band fan at heart and would love to play that style but unfortunately that doesnt fly at most clubs, so I am fine to play whatever pays. And yes I have reliable transportation.
