Hey y'all! I'm Damon Covert, a Bowie-based, middle-aged Christian dude ISO like-minded musicians for ministry-focused recording, gigging, and touring.

I can sing, play acoustic & electric guitar & bass, and simple keys. I'm not flashy, but I mesh well with a band, musically and personally. A professional attitude is more than just taking the music seriously. It also includes treating people with respect, dignity and kindness.

I've been in a few (primarily original) bands, but I'm looking for a legitimate, flexible, professional option as an alternative to a traditional second job - something to compliment Principle 8's ministry efforts.

I'm looking for musicians doing their best to walk with Christ, but not necessarily a worship or CCM band (although that's certainly an option!)!

I'm not interested in the sex, drugs & Rock n' Roll mindset, or loading out at last call. I'm in recovery, but not from substance abuse, so playing venues & events where alcohol is served isn't necessarily an issue - as long as they're not too sketchy or sexually oriented.

I want to play positive music to help others celebrate life - and have fun with friends while making a little money in the process.
