I Started violin at the age of 13 playing by ear and reading music by South African artists back at home. I then studied classical music for about 5 years and Im currently studying jazz violin at Berklee. I read scores, chord charts and play by ear.

Influences:

Im influenced by many south african musicians, though non of them are violinists like Khaya Mahlangu, Tsepo Tsola, Jimmy dludlu, Prince lengwasa, themba Mkhize to name a few.
