I am a professional musician looking for a Jazz Combo or small Jazz ensemble to join. I have a double music performance BA from MSSU in Joplin, and have been playing bone since 1979.
I am currently under vocal/acting contract to Sight & Sound theatres, Branson, MO.

Influences
I played lead trombone with the MSSU jazz orchestra under the direction of Dr. Phil Wise from 2005 thru 2007, and was in the MSSU Jazz Combo as well. Dr. Wise played jazz chair/lead trombone for Clark Terry's Big Bad Band in the 80s, and is now the director of Jazz studies at MSSU. Clark Terry was the lead trumpet player for Count Basie during the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and is now the honorary director of Jazz Studies at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR.
Everything I know of jazz improv comes from the influences of Wise, Terry, and Basie.
