Hello all! I'm a vocalist who is looking to join a band. I have been taking private voice lessons for over 8 years, but I have been singing since I was very young. I grew up in a musically oriented family and have developed a good ear. My voice has been described by others as either being mezzo-soprano or soprano. I have a good range that can reach the airy highs required of classical Italian pieces as well as the smouldering lows of the jazz and standards era.
I have participated in the Certificate of Merit music tests, competitions, and done performances for both evaluation and volunteer purposes.
t originally began as a hobby, but through the years has grown to something so much more. I would love to jam with some like minded people anywhere between the OC and Ventura (I don't mind a commute). I'm up for just about any kind of music (although I do favor Jazz, Blues, and Opera-esque/chamber Rock music).
