Personal Profile: I have been playing drums in active cover bands for over ten years, and had much previous experience in music and performing arts prior to that. I am open to playing any form of music that requires a drummer. Though my "real" job is not a musician, I consider myself to be a semiprofessional musician and take my performances and practice very seriously.

Influences
80's pop and 90's alternative rock were big influences growing up. Had exposure to oldies and classic rock as well so Bonham and Ringo were also big influences. All my drum instructors have been strong Jazz performers so Roach and Kruppa are still some of my favorite drummers to listen to.

EQUIPMENT
My flagship kit is a Pearl Reference with Root Beer Fade finish. Cymbals are Paiste or Zildjian and all professional grade and quality. As most drummers do, I have multiple kits in case different situations warrant it. I have a Tama kit with a mirror chrome wrap finish and even a Roland electric kit so practice and rehearsal can be MUCH quieter. I have all the hardware for live performance or recording including all top notch drum mics (Audix, Sennhauser, and Shure) as well as the stand/clips to use them properly. I have some basic sound equipment that includes mixer, amp, 2 wedges that can be used as monitors or highs, and a large powered sub.
