Hello,
I'm Riley. I'm trying Bandmix again to look for local musicians to start a serious band with. I would like to create a sound along the lines of Metric, Foals,The Airborne Toxic Event, Manchester Orchestra, Bloc Party, The Kooks, Maximo Park, and Yeasayer, possibly with a hint of The Naked & Famous. I want to have a dirty sound of Block Party but also carry on the light-heartedness and spontaneity of Matt & Kim. I would love to start playing locally and eventually through out the Midwest and maybe in Canada but first things first, I would need to have a committed band and friends who want have a passion to want to make music and share their art. I'm open to suggestions and sounds and hope to start something with others.
Would prefer a 3-5 piece band.

EQUIPMENT
Simple sounds truthfully.
-Two Fender Strats which have the tones of Bloc Party.
-One Line 6 Spider which I have toned into English punk tones.
-One Halo Bass which has the tenacity of Death From Above 1979.
Looking to get a Febder Telecaster very soon and a Vox/Fender Deluxe amp.
