Anyone up for an 80s cover band?
I started playing at 14 on a Tama Rockstar in 1990. I recently updated my Pearl Export to a Hybrid kit powered by Yamaha. My philosophy is that drums, bass and rhythm guitar should all work together for a solid groove. I am not into making the groove more complicated then it needs to be, keep it simple smooth and you know your doing it right when people are tapping their feet, nodding their heads and dancing. I am a professional firefighter, husband, father of 2 daughters and I get along very well with others.
I have up uploaded a few sound clips of me playing along to some songs. Please forgive the sound quality, as my intent is to show my playing style.

This is me having fun with my hybrid kit and tweaking the sound to get close to the infamous Linn Drum sound used by Prince.
